Charlotte corporate video production company LEC Media and Girls on the Run.LEC Media is proud to announce that we have been selected by Girls on the Run, International in Charlotte to film and produce a series of inspirational and educational video pieces for use in their International campaigns.

Girls on the Run® is a life-changing, experiential learning programs for girls age eight to thirteen years old. The programs combine training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. The goals of the programs are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development.

“We have a video date in November here in Charlotte and a video date in December in Asheville for a national 5K run event,” said Frank Schwartz of LEC Media.  “At both events we will be filming with several cameras to capture the powerful and emotional energy that these events are known for.”

One of the main “stars” of the video series will be a brand new contemporary song that was Charlotte video production company LEC Media films Girls on the Run.written for Girls on the Run.  The song has a great tune, a strong beat, and is filled with lyrics about the Girls on the Run program.  “When I first heard the song,” says Schwartz, “it filled my heart with inspiration and made me think about my own three daughters.”

The video series will be released in early January 2012 during the national meeting of the Girls on the Run organization.  We will keep you updated on the progress.
