Meet our Client Advocate, Amanda. She wears many hats here at LEC. She is the liaison between our clients and the entire video process by keeping them in the know, and answering every single question they throw at her. If the client is happy, then Amanda has done her job.

Amanda started at LEC toward the end of last year and has surely made herself a valuable asset to the team. With over 10 years experience in the hospitality industry, Amanda is great at meeting the needs of all our clients and assuring them that the process of creating their video goes swimmingly.

Along with her job of managing clients, Amanda is excellent at all things organization. She is a self described “scheduling nerd”, blocking out daily tasks on a calendar like Tetris blocks on a grid.  She has also begun to dabble in the art of voiceover acting.

Whether she’s scheduling conference calls, creating spreadsheets or sending over 500 mail outs, Amanda makes sure that her time is spent wisely. She isn’t afraid to get down and dirty to get the job done. From painting doors to planting flowers in the flowerbeds, we’re lucky to have Amanda on our team.

We felt it was necessary for you to get to know her a little more, so we asked her a few questions and this is what she said:

Q: Describe your job in three words.

A: Dynamic, detail-oriented, and fun.

Q: What’s the funnest part of your job?

A: I’d say the funnest part is getting to go on all the shoots, and getting to see the behind the scenes stuff. Also, making sure that all the client’s needs are met.

Q: What do you think is the hardest part of being a client advocate?

A: The hardest thing about my job is also the funnest part, which is ensuring our client’s needs are met throughout the project.

Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard/received?

A: “Why stand when you can sit; why sit when you can lay down.” -Ryan Young

Q: In an alternate universe, what other job would you want to do, and why?

A: It would be really fun to work as a floral designer, because I love flowers and I think there is something equally invigorating and soothing about creating pieces of art with floral arrangements.

Q: What hobbies do you do in your free time?

A: I garden, bake, and go to a lot of concerts.

Q: Favorite color?

A: Brown

Q: Favorite restaurant?

A: Anywhere that has good BBQ.

Q: What’s your favorite band?

A: Lucero (not to be confused with the latin pop star).

Q: What’s one quirky fact about you that people may not know?

A: I’m terrified of birds (of all kinds).

Amanda is a lot like a computer hard drive. She keeps all the clients running smoothly, guides you when needed, and alerts you when there’s a problem. Much like a computer needing a hard drive to operate, LEC needs Amanda.
